Athanasia Botsa in W.T.G.F.’s Hall Of Fame


In 1978, the 1st World Tranplant Games took place in Portsmouth, England.

In 1987, during the 6th World Transplant Games in Austria, the World Transplant Games Federation was established.

On 25th June 2017, during the Opening Ceremony of the 21st World Transplant Games in Malaga, Spain, the World Transplant Games Federation celebrated its 30 years of operation, awarding Athanasia Botsa, athlete and kidney transplant, for being the athlete with the most participations worldwide, giving her a place at the W.T.G.F.’s Hall of Fame.
